Six-room apartment: layout and design examples

A six-room apartment is a very special space. And therefore, its layout must be carried out according to special rules. It is also useful to familiarize yourself with examples of the design of 6-room apartments - because only they will sometimes help to make the right decision.

A good plan for a 6-room apartment is usually done according to an individual scheme. Therefore, the term "standard layout" itself is categorically inappropriate here and is rather conditional. Still, there are universal principles that must be followed when decorating a 6-room apartment. So, the main binding sites are always communication nodes and load-bearing walls. Plums (sewerage) are connected to sewer risers with a diameter of 10 cm and lead them at a slope.

Extremely important whenever possible allocate a separate bedroom for all family members. It also becomes a personal room. But if a childless couple or a couple who have already released their children into the big world live in an apartment, you can get by with one large bedroom. Anyway it is imperative to arrange a common living room. Without this room, a voluminous apartment will be obviously incomplete.

Realtors and builders note that usually 6-room urban dwellings are "vests" or corner options. As a result, windows almost inevitably appear in opposite walls. It is advisable, if possible, to arrange the rooms as close to the square as possible, and not to stretch the layout in the form of a carriage. If such a mistake is made, a vast, but useless in practice, empty corridor will appear.

In a six-room dwelling, you can arrange the dining area directly in the kitchen. But for this, its total area must be at least 16 m2. The alternative is “studio” execution, when the kitchen and the guest corner have a single space. Families with children will like this solution; thanks to him, all their members will be able to constantly see each other.

In some cases, a logical step would be to design a separate dining area. This solution is suitable where it is difficult to find another application for a large part of the area. Or where a large number of guests will often be received. Whichever scheme is chosen, it is very important to provide personal space.

For the spouses, it is recommended to make a master bedroom. Usually its area is from 15 to 20 square meters. m. From there, it is advisable to make separate exits to personal bathrooms and dressing areas. In a 6-room apartment, you can make as many as 3 bathrooms (observing the basic requirements for their arrangement).

Sleeping areas are advised to be made as lighter and richer in sunlight as possible. For decoration, in many cases, it is advisable to use the classic style. Or its slightly more modernized version - the so-called modern classics.

Alternatively, you can consider:

• Scandinavian style;

• contemporary approach;

• Mediterranean performance;

• loft;

• design in the spirit of minimalism;

• ecological design.

On the multi-level ceiling, both spotlights and an elegant chandelier were correctly applied. Almost all walls (except one) have an emphatically light design. An extraordinary solution turns out to be green shelves, which are both functional and become a decor.

This is what a large kitchen might look like. Already chandeliers immediately add unusualness to this room. Woody surfaces are accentuated by a particularly black open storage system. A wooden table and frilly chairs work together better than meets the eye. The floor and walls are painted in very light colors.
