The disadvantages of the stone are, of course, its high price, as well as the complicated processing process. Therefore, an artificial stone called acrylic is often used as a cheaper alternative.

The main advantage of plastic lies in the variety of colors and even textures. Without much difficulty, you can choose a universal design suitable for an existing kitchen set. The plastic rack will not deteriorate over time, nor will it be damaged by liquids or chemicals. In addition, it is quite inexpensive. However, plastic quickly breaks down when interacting with high temperatures - it is important to understand this and avoid reflow in every possible way.

When choosing a bar table for the kitchen, it is important to consider many factors, the main of which is the size of the room. For example, an island is suitable for a kitchen-living room, which will, among other things, perform the function of space zoning. For a small kitchen, you should choose two-level models that are used for both cooking and eating. Suitable for a small room and transforming objects, such as folding, sliding or swivel. Large structures are also suitable for studios, where, again, they are capable of performing several functions.

In addition, attention is paid to the size of the interior item, the presence or absence of cabinets, stands and other details, as well as the installation method. The height of the wall post usually ranges from 110 to 130 centimeters. The length is selected so that there is approximately 60 centimeters per person sitting.

Currently, there are numerous unusual design solutions for the design of the bar counter and its location. Designs made of light wood are considered very stylish and beautiful. Continuing up the wall, the table top goes to the ceiling. Lighting fixtures are placed on it. At the bottom, another level is formed, allowing, on the one hand, to use the rack for cooking, and on the other, to use the resulting result. Modern minimalist interiors require the use of the most laconic bar table. It can be an ordinary dark-colored wooden board with one plate-leg covered with a reflective material. No additional details are used in this case.
