Further, pipe couplings are subdivided according to the type of thread, which is important to choose the right one, because each of them is suitable for a certain type of work. Thread mark is divided into inch and metric.

• Metric. The notch angle is 60 degrees. Measuring step is calculated in millimeters.

Many manufacturers do not divide klupps into any specific types, because, in fact, they perform the same function.

There are two types of klups available on the market now.

• Manual type. The most familiar and familiar tool for any plumber. Such klupp can be found in any store and at a very affordable price. Very compact and designed for minor jobs. It can thread a pipe, nut or bolt, and it can also be used in repair work to replace notches, lengthen them, or correct mistakes. The main disadvantage, which is most often noted by experts, is that it is necessary to have strength in order to hold the handle correctly and tighten the nozzle. Popular thread models are 1/2 and 3/4 inches. Large diameter pipes require skill and strength. The sets contain special attachments with a simple holder. And there are also kits when the latter is equipped with a ratchet or adapter. If the cutter is worn out, it can be replaced with a new one. You just need to unscrew one bolt and change the cutting part.If the kit does not have a handle or holder, then you can use either a wrench or a crocodile wrench.

• Eclectic type. Refers to professional tools and is used in industrial construction. The power ranges from 700 to 1700/2000 W. Therefore, it is not considered advisable to buy this unit for home use or one-time use. The set includes a set of 6 or more heads, the diameter of which varies from 15 to 50 mm. The same kits can be found in inches too. The main advantage of the technique is that you do not need to use force to twist. The operation is very simplified and fast, so the time spent on work is saved. Suitable for operations in hard-to-reach places or where the pipe is located close to the wall. Cons: Cannot be used outdoors and in bad weather. The tool is completely useless without electricity.

• ZIT-KY-50. Country of origin - China. A budget option that is suitable for threading a variety of pipes with a diameter of 1/2 to 2 inches. Compact, everything is in a plastic case. Of the minuses, low productivity is noted; with active use, the cutter quickly becomes unusable.

• Partner PA-034-1. Manufactured in China. Like the previous version, it belongs to the budget class, only in this case the klupp is manual. The set includes only 5 of the most popular attachments.

• Dimensions and weight. If the tool is heavy, this does not mean that it will be better for threading. This only testifies to the quality of the metal.
