Due to this, it tolerates moisture well. The second contains sand and lime. It is made in white and has a low moisture resistance, due to which it has limitations in the field of application. Also, silicate brick is thinner than ceramic, although it provides no less good sound and thermal insulation of rooms.

As for hyper-pressed products, they are 90% limestone, the remaining 10% are cement and dyes. Most often they are used in building decoration works. In this case, the variety of colors plays an important role.

Facing bricks can be produced in shades such as the usual red, brown, terracotta, as well as ivory and straw.

Ceramic products are solid and hollow. The difference lies in the content of through holes, thermal conductivity, moisture resistance. For example, in solid bricks, the presence of voids cannot exceed 13%, while hollow bricks conduct heat much better, but they tolerate the effects of moisture worse.

Semi-dry forming involves firing without preliminary drying.This technology makes it possible to obtain bricks with a porous structure. Such products have limitations in use, for example, they cannot be used in the construction of load-bearing structures and fences. However, they have proven themselves as a material for floors and walls inside the premises. The bricks are perfectly shaped, their coating is smooth and free from roughness, which makes them an excellent option for facing work.

M100 bricks can be produced in 3 sizes. Their subsequent use depends on what kind of masonry the builders will use. Products can be single (250x120x65 mm), one and a half (250x120x88 mm) and double (250x120x138 mm).

Weight varies depending on size (from 2 to 2.3 kg in the first case, from 3 to 3.2 kg in the second and from 4.8 to 5 kg in the third case).

In addition, it is quite possible to make masonry yourself, it is enough to know the basics of construction technology and follow a number of rules. However, it should be borne in mind that for the construction of complex structures, you should still contact professionals.

Single ceramics M100 create excellent soundproofing of the room. In addition, the thermal insulation properties of the material make it possible to refuse additional insulation.

However, it must be borne in mind that after working with ordinary bricks, cladding will be required. This is not always profitable from an economic point of view, which is why many buyers stop at using face material.

Selection rules

When buying an M100 brick, it is worth paying attention to a few main points. As for the size, the choice is usually between single and double. It all depends on the type of masonry, the material is selected purely individually.

Since brick is the main building material used in the construction of buildings, it is necessary to take care of its quality characteristics. For example, the maximum setting for the defrost and freeze cycles should be selected. This will extend the life of the building.The optimal choice would be the 30-50 cycle option.

For the manufacture of the foundation, solid bricks are used, however, there are also limitations. Products made using semi-dry molding technology have low frost resistance. Their use in this case, as in the situation with external cladding, should be avoided. But they are perfect for the construction of partitions inside the building.

Brick M100 is suitable for the construction of houses with no more than 3 floors. For taller buildings, use other models.

The color of the brick is influenced by dyes and firing, so you should not draw a conclusion about the quality of the product on its basis. High-quality products should not have cracks and chips, and the material should not crumble.
