Characteristics of the appearance of the plant and heads of cabbage

The rosette of leaves is semi-raised, small and compact. Leaves are rounded in shape. On the plate itself, there are small bubbles that are poorly expressed. The color is light green, with a slight waxy bloom, its intensity is medium. The edge of the leaf is slightly wavy, almost invisible.

Growing and care

You can grow cabbage in a seedling and non-seedling way. If the vegetable is grown in the southern region, then the seeds can be safely sown in open ground in April-May.

The most favorable time for sowing seeds for seedlings is considered the beginning of March - early April. Gardeners choose the period from 10 to 20 March. On the territory of Siberia and the Urals, all sowing dates are shifted by approximately 2 weeks. Much depends on the weather conditions.

All material is disinfected before sowing.Seeds are processed only if they have not been covered with a special glaze. To do this, choose a solution of potassium permanganate or potassium permanganate. After that, everything is washed with hot water, and then cooled. Seeds are dried on a clean cloth.

For greater immunity, the material can be treated with "Epin" or "Zircon". This promotes good germination and creates a disinfecting effect.

  • 5-7 days before transplanting, the seedlings should be taken outside for subsequent acclimatization.

Cabbage is planted in the ground at the age of 1 month. The landing date is from April 20 to May 10.

The next top dressing is carried out after 2 weeks, and mineral fertilizers are added to the previous components. The third feeding is needed exclusively for the ovaries. It is best to use superphosphate and potassium. All nitrogenous fertilizers are excluded.
