White cabbage variety Slava 1305 is one of the oldest and most popular among summer residents in Russia. The variety was included in the State Register in 1940. The selection was carried out by specialists of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing". The variety was obtained by E.M. Popova at the Gribovskaya selection experimental station. The best foreign varieties of white cabbage were used for breeding.

Description of the variety

A multipurpose variety intended for outdoor cultivation. Differs in good transportability, but not suitable for long-term storage. Heads of cabbage do not lose their properties up to 60 days. The litter is resistant to fork cracking, not prone to intense flowering. There is a light waxy coating on the surface. Cabbage is resistant to moisture shortages and can be grown in arid regions.

Characteristics of the appearance of the plant and heads of cabbage

Slava 1305 forms a raised rosette of leaves 67–103 cm in diameter with medium-sized plates. The outer stump of this cabbage is short, the inner one is of medium length. The leaves are rounded, finely wrinkled, with weakly expressed veins, with a strongly wavy edge. Painted in green and grayish shades.

Heads of cabbage are round-flat or round in shape, weighing 3-5 kg. Sizes range from medium to large, on the outside the fork is pale green on the outside, white on the inside. The head of cabbage has an average density.

Growing and care
