It is also quite resistant to all weather conditions.
Breeding history
The Françoise variety is a prominent representative of the domestic selection of the early 2000s. Its authors Maksimov S.V. and Klimenko N.N., well-known breeders representing the Poisk agrofirm, completed work on the creation of a new variety of cauliflower in 2006, at the same time an application for admission to use was submitted. After two years of variety trials, in 2008, the culture was added to the lists of the State Register of Breeding Achievements of the Russian Federation.
Description of the variety
A variety of cauliflower, Françoise, has been used for more than 10 years for cultivation both on an industrial scale and in summer cottages and household plots. It is known that it tolerates cold weather very well, and therefore it is often grown using a seedless method.
Characterization of the appearance of the plant and heads
Cauliflower Françoise has a vertical rosette of leaves. The leaf of a medium-sized culture is painted in gray-green tones, there is a slight blistering, as well as a slight wave at the edges. The head of the cabbage is round, dense, only partially covered with leaves. It has a delicate texture, inside the vegetable is whitish-yellow, weighing an average of 600 g.

The Françoise variety is suitable for those for whom it is important to follow a diet, it is ideal for diet food. Cabbage is also good for making baby foods. This vegetable is valued for its rich vitamin and mineral composition with a high content of amino acids necessary for the body.
Ripening terms
Françoise is a mid-early variety. The growing season of this culture is 90–100 days.
Yield
The yield of varietal vegetables is quite high, on average from 1 sq. m you can get 3.2 kg of vegetables.
Growing and care
When cultivating cauliflower of the Françoise variety by seedlings, sowing of seed is carried out in the first decade of May. Seeds are planted in a nutrient substrate, the immersion depth is 1.5 cm. The grains are lightly sprinkled with soil, then gently irrigated with warm water. The container with the landings is removed in a well-lit warm place.
When about 7 leaves are formed on the shoots, and the plants are at least 15 cm high, you can transplant them into the ground. However, the transfer of seedlings can be done only when the soil on the site warms up to + 15 °, and the air at night will not cool below + 8 °.
It is important to pay attention to the correct choice of place, because only a well-lit space on the site is suitable for the Françoise variety. The culture prefers fertile soil. The crop will grow best in those beds where cucumbers, pumpkins, onions, and legumes grew last season.
For planting seedlings, prepare holes 20 cm deep. It is necessary to plant Françoise cauliflower according to the 50x50 cm scheme, that is, the distance between the plants and between the rows should be within 50 cm.
Crop care will consist in abundant irrigation, as well as hilling, weeding, and loosening. To prevent the heads from falling apart and retain their original color, forks must be protected from direct sunlight.
The cauliflower in question is not very demanding on agricultural technology, but it needs regular watering and feeding. So, it should be watered every 2 days. In drought, cabbage is watered every day. Watering events are usually carried out in the evening, namely after sunset. Watering is carried out at the root, and only with warm water.
