To find the right model for your home use, there are some important criteria to consider.

• Type of fuel. It can be petrol, gas or diesel. Gasoline power plant options are considered the most budgetary, they have quiet operation, small size. They are easy to transport, so they are often purchased for home use. The only drawback of such options is the high cost of fuel. Inverter models can be distinguished from gasoline ones. They are more expensive, but have one big plus - they give out the most accurate current without hesitation. That is, if you use a computer or other highly sensitive devices when the light is turned off, then you need just such an inverter model. Such options have a rather high cost compared to their gasoline counterparts.

Diesel versus gasoline options are considered to be more economical, as the fuel cost is less, although the generators themselves have a higher price. The downside is their work is not lower than -5 degrees Celsius, since the fuel can thicken, which will prevent the device from starting.

Gas powered generators the most economical and quiet at work. However, they have the highest cost. For better use of such options, it is necessary to supply stationary gas.

• Concerning equipment capacity, then for this you need to calculate the load that will be on your device during a main power outage. If during a shutdown you use a TV, a refrigerator, a pump for a well and a washing machine, then the power must be at least 10 kW.

• Exists models with additional features... For example, single-phase and three-phase power generators. If your house has 220 volt electricity, then you only need a single-phase model, and if you have a three-phase connection or three-phase consumers, the 380 volt model is the best option.

• Noise level is also very important, as it is your comfort. The most suitable noise level for gasoline devices is up to 74 dB, and for diesel ones - up to 80 dB.
