After that, special impurities and components are added. The resulting mass must be kept in a container, and then squeezed out with a press and processed with high temperature.
Fiberboard is divided into separate categories depending on density, hardness and face layer. To make the slabs moisture resistant, manufacturers use paraffin. Fiberboard sheets are often used for floor covering, while they cannot be used as a rough covering due to insufficient thickness. This type of building material is perfect for leveling the surface before installing parquet or linoleum. Some types of hardboard can be used as the main cladding.
