When the old box is removed, the opening is cleaned up, it's time to prepare a new iron door. Since it is very difficult to drive a lock into a door, it is recommended to order a sample with a lock already embedded. Instructions for installing a door in an apartment are as follows.

• First you need to align the hinge post in two planes. This requires a plumb line.
• Then, using a punch in the opening, it is necessary to drill recesses through the mounting holes with a depth corresponding to the anchor length or the length of the pins. Installation methods do not differ much, except that it is possible to install frames with holes in the box on less thick walls in a panel house, where it is much more difficult to install doors with eyelets.

The length of anchors in brick-concrete walls should be 100 m, and in foam block walls - 150 m.

There are some nuances when installing a door in a dwelling on a frame. For a successful installation, you will need the following tools.
