2. When drilling a hole, do not damage the lock fittings. There are two methods for this. In the first case, a hole is drilled through with a 5 mm drill from the inside, and then from the outside it is reamed with a 10 mm drill, without reaching the lock mechanism.The second option is simpler: before starting work, remove the lock and drill all the holes.
3. A handle is inserted from the outside, holes for fasteners are marked. This can be done with a bright marker or pencil. The holes are made of the required diameter.
4. The lock fittings are mounted in place, if removed, the external handle is inserted into the holes made in the horizontal position and the length of the square is determined. When necessary, the excess is cut off by means of a grinder or a hacksaw for metal.
5. The internal model is installed and the bolts are tightened. The fasteners are closed with a decorative strip.
6. The work of the handle is checked. The door should close freely and tightly, the handles should not have any backlash.
