Plastic entrance groups and their features

Plastic entrance groups are a complex of structures that are used to decorate the main entrance to the room: the door itself, respectively, steps, canopies and other structures. Today, PVC entrance groups have become especially popular, because they are able not only to attract the attention of visitors, but also to give an acceptable appearance to the building. They can be found in any place - in shopping centers, catering outlets, organizations and in private homes.

Entrance groups are a whole system of different parts. In addition to the door itself, the complex includes the following elements:

Plastic entrance groups also have disadvantages. Despite the ability to retain a large amount of heat in a room, they are not so tightly sealed, therefore, they do not cope well with thermal insulation, like, for example, an ordinary door. This disadvantage is especially evident in the northern regions of Russia, where the temperature in winter can reach -30 ° C.

The final cost of the entrance group is formed depending on the following features:

• the material of which the supporting structure is composed. Manufacturers can make them from a variety of materials: from plastic to metal, such as aluminum or steel;
• design. The elaboration of the design of the entrance group and its production will take more time than the standard entrance group. Some details may also take longer;
• dimensions of the structure;
• door system. They can be closed and opened in different ways, so the manufacturing technology is also changing;
• used glass.

In addition to the external characteristics, it is worth considering the practical features of glass, which is an assistant in ensuring the preservation of heat inside the room and protecting the building. Glass in a plastic entrance group can be of such types as:

• sunscreen - reduces exposure to ultraviolet rays. Such glass has either an additional layer or a special coating;
• triplex - This is one of the most durable types of glass that protects against negative influences. In some cases, the triplex protects even from serious blows. Unfortunately, it has poor transparency;
• acrylic or organic. It is noteworthy that it is two and a half times lighter than the standard one, and it also retains heat better and allows sunlight to pass through. There is also a drawback: acrylic glass is fragile, therefore it requires careful handling;

• tempered. Due to the heat treatment, such glass gains an advantage - the fragments arising after destruction cannot injure;
• glass blocks - their purpose can be characterized rather as decorative. In addition, glass blocks are available in a wide range of colors and various reliefs;
• stained glass - this is also a decorative type of glass.

Additionally, it should be said about soft coatings, which are also called soft windows. They are made of durable film with a high density index. It is a reliable material that can protect against wind and precipitation. But such soft materials are used only for decorating structures located on the street, or for a veranda. In general, soft coatings are inexpensive, so they will be a good alternative to standard designs.

If the customer wants to order an individual design, then the price of manufacturing the entrance group will be higher as a result. However, this will be an additional way to highlight the beauty of the building. Before starting to work, it is necessary to clean the surface of debris, dirt, dust, excess moisture and other possible contamination. Irregularities must be leveled, and cracks and crevices must be eliminated either with cement mortar or with a sealant. Further, the processing is carried out using a primer.

As you already know, the entrance group consists of many elements. The installation process consists in combining structures, doors and partitions. First, the products are removed from the packaging. It is important here not to lose the small parts included in the kit. It is better to insert the door handles immediately.

Then you need to leave only the door frame - pull the doors out of the hinges. Double-glazed windows are retracted to avoid damage. To do this, you need to use a rubber mallet and a knife.
