After all, somewhere within us, there is bound to be that part that wants peace at some moment, longs for unity with nature.

So what is the difference between the interior of a country house and what is inside it? Let's reveal all the secrets of village life.

A country house implies a tree decoration. All wall, ceiling and floor decoration should be made of wood materials that not only look great, but are also environmentally friendly products. If the house is built from a good and beautiful log, then the walls, most likely, do not even require finishing. They are simply covered with tinting compounds after sanding.

When choosing shades for decorating your home, you should focus on natural colors, on what is present in nature. You can even go out and observe nature in the park, maybe you can find interesting solutions for your home there. The blue color of the sky will prompt unusual solutions for accessories, green foliage can envelop in warmth, the yellow color of the sun will delight the eye, cheer up and remind you of summer, brown wood adds austerity to the interior, made in pastel colors with the addition of white.

Furniture, like the whole house as a whole, should be reminiscent of nature. And first of all it concerns the material from which it is made. This is also a tree. You can even rummage in your grandmother's closet and get out of there old furniture, which is stored "just in case", in places to restore and fit into the interior.

But if such furniture has not survived, then the elements of modern furniture, which have been given a slight effect of antiquity, will look perfect. You can add armchairs on wheels to the sofa, and you can diversify the natural interior made of wood with leather, from which these very pieces of furniture will be made.

The most important thing is the presence of a stove or fireplace, which play one of the most important roles in the life of the house. Especially during severe Epiphany frosts. • A rural kitchen is always characterized by a space that allows you to gather at the table not only a large family, but also a huge number of friends, neighbors, and just good acquaintances.
• The living room in the village disposes to long sincere conversations in front of the fireplace or to the needlework of the female half of the house. A spinning wheel or an old sewing machine can very well fit into the interior.

• For convenience, the bathroom is still located in the house, and not as is customary in old village houses on the street. For a more interesting design, you can use stone in the bathroom.
• Do not forget also about the porch, which welcomes guests and immerses them in the atmosphere of the house. The design of the house from the outside should completely overlap in style with the interior decoration.

As for the size of the house, today you can choose any option suitable for each. Small houses are very popular in size, for example, 7 x 8 m. Such a house allows you to place everything you need in a small space. Nearby you can build a 4 x 9 m bathhouse or any other size.

Even the rustic style has several home decoration options that differ from each other:

• Russian style. The first and most important distinction of the Russian style is the stove, which is complemented by a poker, a grab and earthenware. Potholders, towels, tablecloths can be completed with hand embroidery. In the bedroom, the main attribute is a chest, on which you can put a rag doll and cover it with a patchwork bedspread or upholstery with fabric. And no pretentiousness, everything is rather rudely executed.

• Provence. A distinctive feature of the Provence style is the interior design in blue, white and red. The walls are usually whitewashed, there are flower pots on the windowsills, and the furniture is vintage.

• Country. Country style is characterized by aristocracy and sophistication. All furniture is made of light wood. The presence of a fireplace is a must; in front of it you can sit in a wicker chair with a cup of fragrant tea, wrapped in a blanket.

Private houses in a holiday village are usually small in size, but even in a small area, you can place many decorative solutions that will help breathe a rustic spirit into every room:

• When decorating a kitchen attention should be paid to the ceiling, on which wooden beams are usually visible, emphasizing the chosen style. Since in the modern world one cannot do without technology, and especially in the kitchen, it is better to hide all technical innovations behind wooden facades that can be decorated with hand carving. The floor is usually covered with a crocheted rug of its own, and the table is covered with an embroidered tablecloth. There is earthenware or porcelain dishes, the table is decorated with a pot-bellied samovar, and around the table there are wooden benches or chairs.

• The next main place of the house is the living room. It is here that the main place is occupied by the stove or fireplace, which gather the whole family around them on cold winter evenings. The arrangement of the living room itself primarily depends on your capabilities. An economical solution would be to choose furniture that can be found in the closet of the older generation and restore it without letting the table and chairs lose signs of antiquity. You can place a rug or animal skin on the floor. The table can be covered with embroidered napkins, and the room can be decorated with local crafts. Pictures and icons are hung on the walls.

• The bedroom in the house is a resting place, therefore, it is designed in calm colors, which can be diluted with several bright accents. The main place is occupied by a spacious bed, which is covered with a rug made in a rough style. There are always fresh flowers on the windowsills. Bed linen made of natural fabrics is predominantly white. You can put a fluffy carpet on the floor. The walls are decorated with paintings and hand-made panels.

• The children's room is most often decorated in light colors. The room itself should resemble an element of a fairy tale, into which three bears are about to enter and begin to find out who slept on their bed.

• For the veranda, you can choose several design options. This may be a variant of a summer kitchen, and if you provide for insulation, then the kitchen can be taken out there altogether. You can also arrange a place for privacy there by placing an armchair, laying knitted rugs and hanging shelves with books. Lighting can be made slightly dim by using small lamps made in the form of candlesticks.
