Dimensions and weight of eurocube with pallet

This article describes the main dimensions of a Euro cube with a pallet. A Eurocube with a pallet is one of the most frequently used containers. Such tanks are needed both in industry and in private households. Summer residents and transport workers, power engineers and port workers, even housing maintenance services do not disdain them. And that is why it is so important to understand their dimensions. This is even more significant than choosing a shade that starts with black and ends with a wide variety of variations.

The sometimes forgotten parameter is wall thickness. It usually ranges from 1.5 to 2 mm. How much exactly this indicator will be is determined by the purpose of the container. Euro tank in a crate with a volume of 1000 liters has the following linear dimensions:

• in length - 120 cm;
• in height - most often 110 cm;
• in breadth - about 100 cm.

These figures are not called approximate in vain: in some cases, they can have a difference within 1 cm.It is worthwhile to tell about pallets separately. So, a support for 1 cube with a capacity of up to 1500 liters (1500 kg) has parameters 159x145.5x71.5 cm.The internal volume is 1125 liters. A good euro tank on a metal pallet can also have a size of 120x100x116 cm.

Quite often, tanks with an iron base and a crate with a capacity of 500 liters are purchased. Their height reaches 154 cm. The size of the cross-section can be 99 cm. But the neck has a cross-section of 30 cm. But in many cases this is enough.

Many people also buy a WERIT tank with a 600 liter capacity. This model is supplied on a plastic pallet. Its external dimensions are:

• 80;
• 120;
• 101.3 cm.

In some cases, tanks on a wooden base are used. With a capacity of 1 ton, they have the following linear parameters:

• 120;
• 116;
• 100 cm;
• 15 cm (this is the bay hole).

But they can corrode. Wood is lighter than steel and easier to handle. However, it can burn and rot, and special processing means negate all claims about the naturalness of the material.

And here are the characteristics of the plastic:

• lighter than wood;
• less durable than metal;
• not particularly susceptible to decay;
• capable of burning, including the release of toxic substances.

The weight of an empty tank is very important in many cases. For example, knowing it allows you to:

• accurately calculate the bearing capacity of foundations and floors for permanent storage;
• to arrange an impeccably suitable outdoor area;
• determine the need for vehicles;
• choose the right pallet;
• prepare for moving tanks using various types of lifting equipment.

It should be noted right away that even a cubic capacity of the same nominal volume (including the most common one - 1000 liters) can weigh differently. The fact is that such products have certain approvals even according to official federal and international standards. Even more difference is made by the specifics of specific manufacturers. Even in every batch of goods, deviations can be observed. So, thousand-liter containers are in mass:

• 55,5-65,5;
• 48,5-54,5;
• 49.5-55.5 kg.

Unfortunately, any information about the weight of the pallets or cratets themselves is not disclosed or silent by all their manufacturers.Therefore, you can only focus on the numbers describing the weight and size parameters of the containers themselves. Other options are:

• for a volume of 600 liters - 48 kg (on average, without correction for a plastic or metal base);
• for a volume of 640 l - 46 kg;
• for a volume of 2000 l - 80 kg.

As you might guess, the capacity of Euro tanks for water and for other purposes always corresponds to their linear dimensions. And in the overwhelming majority of cases, tanks for 1000 liters are purchased. First of all, you need to assess the need for the amount of water, and only then find out what size tanks are supplied with a certain capacity.

That's why it makes no sense to put a tank larger than 1000 liters in the same dacha or suburban area. True, there are situations when water supply is absent or experiences very long interruptions. But then it is most correct to use alternative artesian sources. But in the case of industrial and transport facilities, the situation is different: sometimes 5,000 liters are barely enough there. However, in such cases, already experienced engineers and designers will think over everything.
