2. Blowing - the technique of forcing air into a hot (and therefore soft) workpiece. 3. The third, widely used, method is the production of plastic barrels by extrusion. - extrusion of molten plastic through a specially shaped profile.

PET, or polyethylene terephthalate, is the most common polymer compound used in the manufacture of food grade plastic barrels. Its characteristics make it possible not only to store various types of products - free-flowing, solid, liquid and jelly-like, but also the safest for the human body.

• Manufacturing material. SED - is not the only raw material used for the industrial production of food barrels. For example, HDPE - low pressure polyethylene - can be used in drinking water tanks. This is an excellent option for the transportation of bulk products, oil, and not only as containers for short-term transportation, but also as a storage tank. The main thing is not to try to adapt polypropylene for these purposes, which release toxic compounds in vapors.
• Color and stuff. Blue color is quite often found in water barrels and euro drums, but you should not dwell on color - dyes for plastics under the conditions of modern technologies go through continuous transformations. It is much easier to navigate according to generally accepted designations. For food barrels, the letter marking PETE or PET is used (No. 1, cheap plastic packaging for single use, No. 5 PP - for food containers). Polyethylene terephthalate from No. 1 is used in containers for drinks, ketchups and sauces, spices.
