All about cranes for eurocube

Knowing everything about cranes for the Eurocube is necessary not only for representatives of various organizations, as they often think. A cube barrel for water - the same Eurocube - is a very common polymer container. It is used not only in production, but also in construction, and even for domestic purposes. You can often find such reservoirs:

• at gas stations;

• at refineries;

• at the CHP;

• at the facilities of the railway, sea and river infrastructure;

• at airports;

• at car washes, car services;

• at chemical plants and so on.

It is customary to reinforce Euro tanks with an outer metal grille. It, along with the pallet, provides structural strength that is not inferior to the strength of all-metal products. However, normal operation is impossible anyway if the eurocube does not have a tap to drain the water. Only he ensures the normal circulation of the liquid. It is customary to install coupling or flanged ball valves on such tanks with a cross section of about 3 cm (this value is quite enough, judging by experience).

The coupling type is a subspecies of conventional ball valves. They are connected to water tanks, as the name implies, due to couplings with internal grooves. Typically, this cut is cylindrical in shape. However, sometimes designers and engineers prefer a different approach. Then a tapered thread is used, and it is difficult, almost impossible to say in advance which option is better.

The fully open valve handle for a 1000 liter plastic cistern or other capacity will be when it is parallel to the valve body. You will have to lock it by rotating the same handle in the reverse order. It should be noted that ball devices may vary in design. The economical class includes a monolithic product, inside the body of which all the necessary working parts are hidden. In many cases, consumers prefer the two-part option.

Here, too, everything is relatively simple and logical. In addition to the body, the structure also includes a tubular coupling. But if considerations of maintainability are in the first place, it is worth choosing a collapsible type. Such cranes are also often called three-piece, and it is not a problem to replace any damaged block with them. The flanged valve should be mentioned separately.

It can have a different diameter of the drain hole, which makes it possible to simplify the transition procedure and vary the minute discharge of water. The term "flange" in plumbing means a disc-shaped element, in the center of which a hole is made (special channel). The valve is open if the axis of the hole in the ball is exactly aligned with the axis of the pipe. Bringing them to a mutually perpendicular position, the flow of water is immediately stopped. The ball rotates due to a rod connected to it at one end and brought out of the valve body by the other end.

That is why it almost never happens without additional adapters. Their use is the only way to connect highways of different sizes. The inside of the ball most often contains a hole slightly smaller than the inner section of the pipe.

Embedding a crane in a Eurocube is not as difficult as it seems. But all this work must be done with the greatest possible accuracy. It is inattention and haste that often force many people in the end to declare that supposedly such a thing should always be entrusted to qualified plumbers. Whereas in reality the usual conscientiousness is quite enough. An important rule is that regardless of whether it is decided to remove and replace the old tap, or install a completely new one, it should be cleaned of all grains of sand and dust, and also tightly wrapped.

A more perfect solution is FUM tape for plumbing work, but flax is also not bad. The water-impermeable material must be installed (screwed) onto the thread. In this case, regardless of the choice of thread or tape, all grooves are supposed to be filled.

When choosing flax, you will have to additionally use a sealant. Then carefully screw the tap onto the adapter. It is not difficult to recognize the correctness of the actions - in this case, the valve will almost complete a couple of turns, but it will not go further. If this is not the case, you need to remove it and double-check everything carefully. A wrench will help to finish the work; it will also allow you to unscrew the tap if necessary for subsequent repairs.

Many consumers prefer plastic structures. They are relatively inexpensive and yet relatively lightweight. High-quality plastic lasts a long time, but it can still fail when hit and pressed.

To some extent, this is compensated by:

• the universality of the block;

• lack of need for maintenance;

• the ability to install in any position;

• the speed of sealing the hole.

In some cases, it is more correct to use butterfly valves. Their herringbone pins are able to connect directly to hoses with a cross section of 1.8 cm. An ordinary plastic cover works well as an adapter when connected. You just have to drill a hole in it. But it would be even more correct to spend money on a proprietary adapter to ensure that problems are eliminated.
