It is important for many people and organizations to know everything about Euro cubes with crate. One of the most significant aspects of this topic is the weight of a 1000-liter euro cube and the dimensions of plastic still water tanks in a metal crate. The nuances of transporting such containers also deserve a separate discussion.

What is it and where is it applied?

A Eurocube with a crate is a special container that has, of course, a cubic shape. It is important that in most cases such containers are made of loose polyethylene. But the polymer is not very reliable and durable, and this has been a serious problem for a long time. The solution was found just in the frame of cubic containers with a crate made of metal.

In addition to this crate, the pallet plays an important safety role. It is made not only of metal - there are also wooden and plastic structures. The flask has a special neck on top. Its cross section is not too large (there is a variant with a flask of the order of 150 mm), but this is usually enough to carry out work. Typical capacity of a Eurocube is about 1000 liters (with an error permissible according to the established standard). Such a container for water and other bulk products is convenient both for storage and for transportation by rail.

Cubic tanks are often stacked on top of each other. Usually, during transportation and storage, they are arranged in rows of 4 pieces. It is this composition that has proven itself from the best side over the years of use.

The main areas of application of Eurocubes are traditionally already:

  • organization of mini-gas stations;

  • storage and transportation of various liquids, bulk products;

  • organization of hydroponic plant cultivation;

  • preparation of improvised jacuzzi and shower cabins;

  • collection of rainwater;

  • arrangement of septic tanks;

  • watering vegetable gardens, orchards (as a replacement for both stationary barrels and mobile irrigation systems).

What are they?

The weight of a 1000 liter euro cube with crate structures ranges from 48.5 to 54.5 kg. Important: this indicator only shows how much an empty tank weighs. The addition of even a small amount of liquid or bulk product immediately changes the matter. When they talk about a container in a crate, it is assumed by default that it will be in a metal crate. Other options simply do not exist, or they turn out to be too unreliable.

Of course, when ordering a plastic container of a certain size, you always need to clarify how exactly its dimensions are measured. Some manufacturers indicate their value without a pallet, others take this indicator into account, and still others indicate both numbers - you need to carefully monitor what refers to what, so as not to get confused.

It is also necessary to take into account the type of container use. Some Eurocubes are intended for food products. Others are designed for technical fluids. We are talking not only about fuel, but also about various acids and alkalis.

It is also worth noting that the capacity of the Eurocube can vary greatly. Containers are convenient for multiple transportation of various substances.

Features of transportation

This point strongly depends on how the capacity is used in a particular case. Safety requirements are determined by the type of transported substance and environmental conditions. Importantly, stacking on top of each other is possible only for empty cubes. Reservoirs filled at least to a small extent cannot be transported in this way. Containers can be loaded and removed using standard forklift trucks.

The number of empty Euro cubes carried in a particular vehicle is:

  • from 10 to 21 pieces in a railway container;

  • 52 - in a typical carriage;

  • 52 - in the trailer;

  • from 20 to 44 pieces in an ISO shipping container.
