Despite the fact that the shapes and sizes of such pools may be different, they all work on the same principle, which is to use a water supply and filtration system.

Typically, standard designs consist of the following components:

• reservoir (bowl) for filling with water;
• heat exchanger;
• pumps (filtration and water supply);
• water filters;
• water pipes.

To build a pool on the roof of a country house, you can choose any type of construction, it is only important to take into account the load factor on the base of the building and the entire supporting system. Seasonal outdoor pools, which can be used exclusively during the warm season, have become widespread. If you plan to spend time in the pool all year round, then it is best to choose closed structures equipped with a glass roof. In addition, designs may differ in the type of installation.

This type of pool is great for children, as it is made of flexible polyethylene, durable and has soft walls. Adults, on the other hand, should choose inflatable pools with a bowl over 3 m in diameter and 50 to 120 cm deep. The main advantage of such structures is that they are easily placed on the roof and quickly removed. The disadvantage is that during inflation, such pools can stretch, deform and undergo punctures (cuts), the bowl is filled manually from a hose. Besides, inflatable structures must be installed on a flat, soft surface.

This type of pool consists of an elastic bowl (reservoir), a strong frame and various auxiliary elements (ladders, fixtures). Such structures are characterized by high practicality, they do not require frequent repairs. Plus frame pools - ease of installation (they quickly assemble and disassemble), versatility (can be placed on the roof and on the personal plot), durability (the service life is usually up to 10 years), profitability (do not require additional costs for the arrangement). There are no downsides.

This type of pool is rarely chosen for rooftop installation. Stationary structures are both surface and built-in. The first type is placed on the roof, after raising the structure to a certain height. The second differs in the depth of the bowl, so built-in pools require a lot of free space for installation. They are built from bricks, foam blocks or monolithic concrete, using high-quality insulation and special waterproofing material.

A rooftop pool requires a certain arrangement, which begins with the laying of pipes for the supply and discharge of water. Great attention should be paid to the quality of sealing of all joints, this will help to avoid problems with flooding in the future. For pools of a stationary type, it is recommended prepare a separate drain pit and water supply system in advance. If a pool with a large bowl is installed, then the construction of a staircase should be provided... This will facilitate the process of launching and exiting the water.

The finishing of the structure must be done with a practical material, most often porcelain stoneware tiles, mosaics or ceramics are chosen. These materials are moisture resistant and durable.
