However, for all the strength of the body material, they can leak. Experts say that the most difficult thing in such a situation is to find a hole, and even its elimination can go through more easily. Let's try to figure out what is required for the repair and how to proceed.

To patch the hole in the frame pool, experts recommend using repair kits that can be found on sale at certain retail outlets... These can be fishing departments or shops that sell pool equipment.

As for the repair kit, it consists of several things. First of all, the underwater self-adhesive patches should be noted. With their help, you can carry out repair work without lowering the pool. For this, the necessary part is cut off, and the hole is closed with it.

Ordinary PVC can also be used. A good option would be, for example, buying a boat pillow made of this material, which can be cut into patches.

If we consider the kits of a number of manufacturers, they may contain cold welding or other similar compositions. All of them must be moisture resistant.

Special attention should be paid to the work with the pool, designed for bathing children. In this case, only non-toxic formulations can be used. The best option would be when the seam turns out to be elastic and can both stretch and shrink when exposed to the material. One of these can be considered glue "Moment". Its use allows you to reliably bond the treated surfaces.

Those mixtures that are in the composition of the repair kits have all the necessary characteristics. They are ideal for this type of use and can be in contact with a humid environment for a long time. However, adhesives containing cyanoacryl should not be used when repairing frame pools made of rubber and PVC, since the seam in this case will be formed quite hard, and when the material is pulled, it can crack and crumble.

In addition, before repairing pools at home, you should stock up on other materials. It is a waterproof sealant that can be used to cover minor damage. It will not crumble and change color, will withstand exposure to both water and ultraviolet rays.

In some cases, bituminous aluminum tape used for roofing works can help. By and large, this is foil coated with an adhesive. This material is quite capable of eliminating leaks for a certain time. Scotch tape is able to hermetically seal damage, in addition, it tolerates moisture well.

The material that can be used as a press does not hurt either. A brick, for example, is fine.

Work to eliminate damage to the base of the frame pool can be carried out at home. For this first of all, you need to determine the location of the hole... In addition to possible defects, natural evaporation can cause water to leave. To eliminate this factor, a number of actions should be taken.

In addition, the pump should be turned on and off from time to time, without ceasing to control the level. In the event that a leak occurs during the operation of the pump, the point is in the pipeline, if after it is turned off, accordingly, the point is in the bowl.

After the defect has been found, repair work can begin. For this, the surface in the damaged area is degreased. There are only two patches: one is glued on the outside, the other on the inside. It is best to drain the liquid and dry the surface.

To repair the bottom, the algorithm of actions will be the same. The surface will need to be rolled. Patches are best warmed up with a hair dryer. A press is placed on top, the role of which can be played by any heavy object. This area should dry out for about a day.

Experts note that regardless of whether a hairdryer is used or not, sanding the surface is prohibited. Failure to comply with this rule can lead to the formation of new defects.

Draining water from a frame pool can be a rather laborious undertaking. That's why in some cases, you can try to fix the leak without draining it... Naturally, this will be much more difficult.

There is only one way to repair such a plan. Patches need to be placed on both sides.

Use special adhesive-based repair kits. You can buy them at any sports store. The product is a tape covered with a moisture-resistant adhesive.

The walls are repaired as follows. To begin with, a patch of the required size is measured and cut off from the tape. The protective coating is removed, after which the segment is attached to the puncture site, first inside the pool, and then outside. Such a product will protect the material from leaks, despite the fact that it was attached under water.

You can also purchase special kits containing patches and adhesives. The tape is smeared with glue, after which it is doubled and left for 2-3 minutes. After that, the patches are glued on both sides of the wall. With the help of these products, you can, for example, glue a plastic corner on the frame.

At the same time, it should be noted that gluing the pool without draining the water is a temporary measure. With the onset of cold weather, you should do a more thorough repair of the container.
